14 hour adult course

To register for the 14 hour course, the student must be 18 years old or older at the start of the course.

Pre-registration must be completed online for all 14 hour classes.

A student cannot be late for class, leave class early or miss class.

The state requires a student attend 6 hours of classroom instruction.

Our class times equal exactly 6 hours.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION​

​​

  • 14 Hour Pre-Licensing course includes 6 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving training.  Behind-the-wheel driving instruction is scheduled in 2-3 hour increments over 3-4 days after classroom instruction is complete and the student has successfully completed the written test.

 

  • You must provide your Temporary Instructional Permit the day of the class.

 

  • The 6 hours of classroom instruction includes the final exam which is the Standardized Knowledge Test provided to Bee Safe from the OMV. A score of 80% is required to successfully complete the course and obtain their Driver’s License.

 

  • If students do not pass the test the first time, they make retake the test one time on that day.  If they do not score at least 80% on the first retest they will be asked to schedule retesting on another day for a fee of $10. Students may take the test twice each day until they have successfully passed.

 

  • Behind-the-wheel driving sessions will be scheduled prior to the end of classroom instruction. Students will have an opportunity to adjust the schedule as needed. Once the schedule is confirmed, we require a 48-hour notice for adjustments to the schedule. A $35 cancellation fee is assessed when a student fails to give 48-hour notice and miss their time.

 

  • The total cost of the 14 Hour Pre-Licensing Course is $475. A $250.00 non-refundable deposit, Temporary Instructional Permit and completion of the Registration Form is required to ensure your placement in the class. The remaining $225.00 balance is due the day of class.

 

  • The final Road Skills Test can be scheduled at the conclusion of the Behind-the-wheel training. Cost of the Road Skills Test for Bee Safe Students is $50.

  • (NOTE:  Applicants must submit all required documentation for the license he/she is applying.  Original birth certificate, TIP or Learner's Permit, etc.)

 

  • You must give us two (2) business days notice if you are not able to attend class. Failure to let us know will result in a $75 fee. (You may call and leave a message if it is the weekend or after hours.) If you do not show up for class, there will be a $75 fee to transfer to another class. If you are late for class, you will have to be rescheduled to another class and there will be a $75 fee to transfer.
