IF YOU HAVE A STUDENT THAT DOES NOT HAVE THEIR TEMPORARY INSTRUCTION PERMIT FROM THE OMV:
As of Thursday, July 2, the OMV temporarily changed the policy regarding the Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP) until September 1. The State has authorized each driving school to issue a paper TIP. Bee Safe has to send in each student’s information by class for approval. Once this approval is obtained, we can then issue the paper TIP. After the paper TIP is issued, the legal custodial/domiciliary parent or legal guardian must sign the paper TIP. This must be signed before your student can take the written test and begin their behind-the-wheel instruction.
You will need to bring your student’s original birth certificate and your driver’s license to the parent meeting. (If there are custody papers or legal guardianship papers you must bring those for us to make a copy.)
